It\u2019s easy to focus on what separates us. It is much harder-but much more rewarding-to focus on the work that connects us. Volunteerism disrupts division. When you are serving your community, political labels disappear. You aren\u2019t \u201cleft\u201d or \u201cright\u201d-you are simply neighbors showing up for one another.
We at Betty\u2019s Body Shop want to celebrate those who show up for their communities, bridging that divide.
